 An injury that happens while exercising or while playing a sport is called a sports injury. Though it is mostly children that are at risk of such injuries, adults can get them too, and in some cases, they can be severe.

  • Using the right equipment, such as shoes, clothing etc. gives you athletic protection
  • Overdoing an exercise can often cause fatigue or other issues. Ease yourself
  • If you get hurt, do not try working through the pain, let your body recover
  • When recovering, resume your activity slowly

After an injury if you have any of the following symptoms, get in touch with your doctor as soon as possible:
  • Severe pain
  • Visible lumps/ deformity
  • Weakness or inability to move the hurt area
  • Swelling
  •  Instability
